Synopsis:

NOMADES portrays a journey in which different cultures, identities and personal expressions converge. A journey that is born from the individuality of paths, in which through raw, unfiltered and honest interactions, a dialogue of experiences is established between its interpreters. A conversation that is born from a stripping of emotions in order to share situations that have violated its members, and in which these individuals undertake changes of skin and nature to try to understand, and in turn empathize, with each other. NOMADES, therefore, intrinsically has a social critique. The piece explores emotions on a physical level, using the body as a medium, and instant choreographic and composition tools to form each chapter.

Bio:

NOMAD DANCE was born from a collaboration between five international dancers, who, despite being very different from each other, know each other intimately through a dialogue without curtains. This generates an inclusive and safe place in which all members can be, without prejudice.

Our anchor and purpose as a collective is to create a platform that facilitates the exchange of different cultures within the world of dance and that supports equal opportunities regardless of gender, sexual orientation or skin color. They themselves are a very diverse group, representing different nationalities (Spain, Ecuador, the Netherlands and Senegal).
