Synopsys:

Paying attention to the base of our body we will focus our attention on how we use our feet to inform the way we dance and the way we can yield to the floor to support ourselves through the flow of movement. Drawing power from our feet and legs we will enable the rest of the body to express itself freely and experience continuous movement. The energy in our body never stops, even where there is stillness.

 

Bio:

Lali Ayguadé worked with Akram Khan, Hoefesh Shechter, Roberto Olivan, Marcos Morau and Baro d’Evel. Since 7 years she has been doing her own work. She started with short duets, “Incognito”, “Saba” and “De camino al otro” and then did a full lenght pieces such as ‘Kokoro’, ‘Iu an mi’ and ‘Here’. This last one was co-directed with Guilhem Chatir. Lali’s latest work is another short duet with Lisard Tranis called “Underneath”.

Synopsis:

The workshop will consist of, on the one hand, knowing what the Ballroom scene is and its origins as a culture in which Voguing is developed. On the other hand, the 5 elements of Vogue Femme will be worked on through which we’ll generate a performance.

 

Biography:

Jayce is a member of the International Gorgeous House of Gucci and Mother of the Elite Kiki House of Bodega Spain. She has been traveling around Europe for 4 years making a name for herself in the BQ Vogue Femme and Hands Performance categories and leading the Barcelona ballroom scene creating safe spaces to learn, grow and compete.
