SYNOPSIS

‘Cuerpo a través’ is Raquel Gualtero’s new proposal. From the previous piece ‘Panorama’, the artist takes body intuition to the extreme with a mixture of fantasy, sense of humor and a touch of hope. Through the body of five women he aims to mutate language, taking it to the extreme. At the same time, it aims to refresh the public’s gaze by searching for a language with which they can empathize and thus connect with their own intimacy. Bring it to a contemplative state; to use the common places of the female body imposed by patriarchy to transform them, destroy them, multiply them. And laugh at and with them to get to, hopefully, questioning them.
