Activity: Inclusive dance workshop ‘Constellations’
Public: Exclusive for La Duna residents

Synopsis:
This is a theater dance workshop for all bodies. The movement of bodies in space will form particular and ephemeral constellations. The dance comes through the concept of drawing in space, imaginary curved and linear elements and, in other cases, also physical elements will help us to trace routes and relationships. Elements such as paper, float type hoops and balls will be used.

Biography:

The BAAL Company is a fresh and peculiar look at dance. They break away from conventions to articulate their own language, exploring the body through desires, thoughts and emotions, always looking for new dialogues between the public and technology.
The company was founded by Catalina Carrasco and Gaspar Morey. Catalina is the artistic engine: her restlessness, nonconformity and panic at boredom are her strenghts. She has a degree in contemporary dance from the Miguel Hernández University and has trained in different countries such as England or Nepal. At the same time, she has worked for companies in Barcelona, Mallorca, Santiago de Chile, Berlin and Cologne. Gaspar has a degree in Physical Education and a doctorate in biomechanics. He was introduced to the world of performing arts through technology and later as a performer.
