Synopsis:

DIALOGS 2022 is a cycle of four conversations around the international panorama of the educational offer in the movement arts sector. The sessions will take place via Instagram LIVE on November 15, 17, 22 and 24.

The fourth session will be a conversation between Roberto Olivan, director of L’OBRADOR Creation Space, and Jeanette Bolding, Pedagogical Training coordinator and full professor at Balettakademien Stockholm. You can consult the rest of the sessions in this same calendar.

Biography:

Jeanette Bolding studied dance in Randolph Macon Womans College 1974-76, the Teachers certification program at The Martha Graham School for Contemporary Dance 1981-83 and a Masters in Contemporary Dance Didactic Program (2013-15), at University of the Arts: School of Dance and Circus.

As a assistant teacher she has imparted classes at The Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and in dance institutions as The Victorian College of the Arts secondary and tertiary school, Melbourne Australia (1983 – 1984), The Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Frankfurt (1984), Der Bosle Stifttung (1985) or Die Iwanson Schule, München (1985-86) among others as well as she has been guest teacher.

Since 1994, tenured teacher collegium member at Balettakademien, where she has created over 50 works for the student performances. Since 2016, she is the senior faculty administrator of the 3 year, of Professional Dancers Education. Head teacher in Contemporary dance. Class supervisor for the second year: Administrator for The Ballet Academy’s Erasmus Project.
