Responsible for the design and control of sound, lighting and technical editing for artists. Technician specialised in Lighting Engineering by ESTAE – School of Performing Arts Techniques of the Institut del Teatre de Terrassa, and Senior Technician in Audiovisual Production and Shows by EMAV – School of Audiovisual Media of Barcelona. He has received additional training in occupational risk prevention for show technicians and in firefighting and first aid equipment. He is currently technical director of Marcel·lí Antúnez’s studio, technical director of Guillem Albà’s theatre company and technician in municipal stage spaces in Vilanova i la Geltrú. He has also worked in several shows of the CAET – Center d’Arts Escèniques de Terrassa and has been technical director of the TNT – Festival Terrassa Noves Tendències, as well as of TDT – festival Teatre de Terror. Recently, he has been the lighting technician of the show Garbuix, and the show Cuculand Souvenir of the company ROPA / Roberto Olivan Performing Arts. Oriol Ibañez is a regular contributor to the ROPA / Roberto Olivan Performing Arts projects, DELTEBRE DANSA festival and L’OBRADOR Espai de Creació.
